Active
members of the Australian Pinzgauer Breeders association, Lynne as stud manager focuses
on temperament and ease of calving. “I have over fifty Pinzgauers now so temperament
and manageability are important to me” says Lynne “I want cattle that
are easy to handle and have minimum calving problems while being commercially viable” |
Lynne believes
Pinzgauers have a great future in the Australian cattle industry as they have in Europe,
Canada, America, South Africa and Brazil. Not only as a pure
breed but as a cross breeder that produces the hybrid vigour necessary in a commercial
operation. |
